I am an artist, but also trained as an architect, currently living in the Midlands . Growing up in the south of England close to the sea and the beautiful New Forest I draw much of my inspiration from these environments and in particularly try to capture the graphic forms created when man made and natural worlds collide . Much of my work is born in the imagination whilst taking hints, ideas and structural forms from the physical world. I believe there is great beauty in this world we inhabit whether created by man or God and all we need to do is open our eyes and our imagination to see it .

Much of my work is created with acrylic paints on canvas but I also enjoy using digital media particularly on my iPad. I also enjoy the random events caused by paint taking on a life of its own over a canvas and try to embrace the chaos in my works . I love “happy accidents “ that occur through the painting process and find it exciting when a picture becomes something quite unexpected through these random events.
